He was predeceased by: his wife Iris Jean Yazel Long; and his parents, William Henry and Carnell Jennings Long. He is survived by: his children, Janice Long Berryhill (Randy) of Mooresville, NC, Barry W. Long (Jane) of Charlotte, NC and Sherrie Long Harville (Billy); his grandchildren, Chad McGahee, Ashley McGahee, Kirbi McGahee Ratner (Aaron), Joanna Long (Courtney), Benjamin Long (Millie), Taylor Berryhill and Lauren Berryhill; and his great grandchildren, Kaleb McGahee, Jaden McGahee, Zane McGahee, Kinley Ratner, Ambree Ratner, Brewton Ratner and Penelope Long.
