He is survived by: his brother Henry (Scott); his wife Anna Lacher; his sons, David Lacher (Julie Anne Howard) of Aiken and Peter Lacher (Jezabel) of Columbia, SC; his grandsons, Maddox, Lennox and Milo of Columbia, SC.; his siblings-in-law, Sally Lacher of Aiken, Frances Coons of Aiken, Henry Schoellkopf of Washington, DC and Robert Reilly (Francoise) of Aix; his niece Rachel West of Portsmouth, OH; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chelsea Reilly (Sebastien) of Cognin, France, Gloria Jean West, Mylie West of Portsmouth, OH, Josh West and Sam West of Portsmouth, OH; his caregivers, Scott, Emily Wheeler, Tramaine Wheeler, Thomas Wheeler, Tiarra Wheeler, Yvette Butler, Pam Jones, Dee Youmans Felicia West, Denise Hill, Denise Lee, Crystal Harris, Monika Weinbeck and Alisa Lee; and also, Louis and Elise of Cogin, France..
