She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Barrineau Ward and Samson Ward; and her siblings, Tinker W. Pierce, Lofton Woodrow Ward, Lewis Ward, Walter R. Ward and Levy B. Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret C. Padgett of Aiken, Wanda C. Johnson of Georgetown, Faye C. Rera of Aiken and James H. "Jimmy" Cooper of Georgetown; and her brothers, Edwin N. Ward (Rosie) of Charleston, Phillip J. Ward of North Charleston and Franklin R. Ward (Jackie) of Georgetown. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
