He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Stearns Hooker and Herbert William Hooker. He is survived by: his wife Emily Ann Hooker; his daughters, Nicole D. Shamblin and Dawn M. Chapman; and his siblings-in-law, Anita, Larry Dibrell of Aiken, SC., Jo and Jess Whitlock of Lafayette, IN.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
