He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gaffney and Florence Gaffney; his son Daniel Thomas Gaffney; and his brothers, Michael Gaffney and Lawrence Gaffney.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gaffney; his children, Susan Gaffney Trueblood of Martinez, GA, Debra Bailey of Columbia, SC, Dawn Anderson (George) of Denton, Texas, Timothy John Gaffney (Jocelyn) of Phoenix, AZ and Chris Fussell of Denton, TX; and his grandchildren, Timette Nevala (Kyle), Nicole Trueblood, Daniel Trueblood (Camille), McKenna Gaffney, Savannah Gaffney, Lauren Bailey and Neal Anderson. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
