He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Walden and Wanda Mae Davis Roberts; his grandson Tyler Roberts; and his brother William Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Eloise Landers Roberts; his children, Gary Michael Roberts (Rhonda) of Aiken, James H. "Red" Roberts (Teresa) of Aiken and Annette Summer (Vernon) of Aiken; his grandchildren, Michael Roberts, Christy Clemmer, Cady Roberts, Whitney Spinks and Cam Summer; his great grandchildren, Adeline, Lillie Clemmer, Ethan Roberts, Madison Cooney, Skylar Patterson, Hunter Eddington, Odin Ramsey, Rylan Spinks, Abbi Roberts and Douggie Roberts; his siblings, Cline Roberts of Etowah, NC, Bruce Roberts of Woodfin, NC, Tim Roberts of Robbinsville, NC and Brenda McMullen of Etowah, NC.; and also Rhonda Miles.
