With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Elizabeth Morgan of Aiken, South Carolina, born in Patterson, Georgia, who passed away on October 1, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Joshua (Cap) and Allie Mae Griner; and her husband James Morris Morgan. She is survived by: her daughters, Marsha (Phil Jones) and Carol Morgan Jerry Collins; her grandchildren, Anna Jones, Chris Rouse, Desiree Wilkes, Morgan Collins, James O'Hare, Patrick and Shawna Collins; her great grandchildren, Natalia and Jeremiah; her nieces and nephews, Ida Strickland, Ruth, Van Steedley, Melanie Rooks, Jim, Mary Dixon, Wade Griner, Alfred, Janice Sweat, Sandy Ruffner, Tony Ruffner, Trent Ruffner, Selena Ruffner and Bobby Lee; and her sister-in-law Mary Love Ruffner. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

DUE TO A COVID ILLNESS IN THE FAMILY AND SCHEDULING, THE FUNERAL SERVICES HAVE BEEN POSTPONED AND WILL BE HELD PRIVATELY.
