We bid farewell to Robert Thomas Blackburn in Aiken, South Carolina, born in Wilmington, Delaware, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 3, 2025 at the age of 61. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his daughters, Taylor Blackburn (Marcus Bennett) and Danielle Blackburn (Abel Elvira); his mother Peggy Wade Garvin (Frank); his sister Michele Blackburn Pearman (Paul); his close friend Carrie Blackburn; and his cats, Licorice, Sushi and Angel.
