With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Paul Kennedy (Aiken, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Paul Kennedy to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Burdette Franklin and Alice Louise Kennedy; his siblings, Maxine Kennedy Hefty and Roger Wayne Kennedy; and his wife Bonnie.

He is survived by: his children, Marsha Kennedy Foryt, Marta Kennedy of Greensboro, NC and Michael Kennedy of Waterbury, CT; his grandsons, Jerad (Victoria) of Milford, CT and Derrik (Kelly) of Old Saybrook, CT; and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Eisley, Quinn and Owen Kennedy.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home (715 E Pine Log Rd, Aiken, SC 29803). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers or plants, please make generous donations to help the animals at Aiken County Animal Shelter.

He was an amazing man whose active lifestyle in his 90's called us higher. We cherish the time we had with him and will never forget our meaningful talks as we sat in his living room, breakfast room or back porch, as well as his drop-in visits where we sat around our dining room table sharing laughter, tears & our future hope of heaven.”
