It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ellis Copley of Aiken, South Carolina, born in Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Copley and Lillian Sutherland Copley; and his son Steven Copley. He is survived by: his wife Rita Croteau Copley; his children, Robert E. Copley, Jr. of Aiken, SC and Deborah Scanlon of New Ellenton, SC; and his brother Charles "Chuck" Copley of Little Compton, RI. He is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
