He is survived by: his wife Jane Dorger Popiel; his children, Marianne Sakowski (Ray) of Bartow, FL, Stephen Popiel, Michelle Barows (Terry) of Jasper, GA, Lisa Kuntzman (John) of Palm Springs, FL and Scott Hosking (Angela) of Charlotte, NC; and his grandchildren, Crissy Espy (Jon), Sean Barows (Chynna), Ryan Barows (Emily), Emily Bunn (Chris) and Madeline Hosking.
