She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert W. Smarr and Grace Goforth Smarr; her husband David Benjamin Jett; and her siblings, Colonel Albert W. Smarr, Jr., William "Billy" D. Smarr, Frances Brown and Margaret McClure.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Bankhead of Sharon, SC; and her children, Marsha Eccleston (Bob) of Columbia, SC, David Jett (Jill) of Aiken, SC and Ben Jett (Lisa) of Lexington, SC. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
