He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Donnan and Ernestine Donnan; his siblings, Hugh Donnan and Lois Hinds; his son Murph Donnan; and his former wife Ruth Merritt.
He is survived by: his wife Jessie G. Donnan; and his daughters, Marilyn Donnan, Connie Morris of Augusta, Janie Donnan of Aiken and Carole Shackelford of Perdido Key, FL. He is also survived by five grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
