She was predeceased by: her parents, Lily Mae Collier and Bill Collier (John Lee Burns Sr.); her children, Elizabeth King and John Lee Burns; and her children-in-law, Leroy Ford Sr. and Carolyn Burns.
She is survived by: her aunt Jennie Mae; her children, David Collier, Fannie Sanchez (Carlos), Donald Burns and George Burns; and her grandchildren, John Lee Burns (Cherie), Leroy Ford Jr. (Danitra), Starwanna Kates, Barbara Mae Hall, Yvonne Burns, John Burns III, Malika Walls, Lakeisha Walls, Natasha Walls, Donald Burns Jr. and George Burns Jr.. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, along with many loved nieces and nephews.
