He was predeceased by: his parents, Tracy Gunter and Eula Smith Gunter; his son Al Gunter; and his sister Martha Bush. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his son Anthony Martin Gunter (Tandji); his grandchildren, Emily Garcia (Jevon), Tracy Gunter, Elizabeth Gunter and Caroline Gunter; his siblings, Linda Green (Jimmy) of Aiken, Lillian Rees-Bowser (Max) of Aiken and Melvin Gunter (Sherri); and his daughter-in-law Melanie Mosley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Clear Water Branch Baptist Church, 235 Crooked Creek Rd., Aiken, SC 29805.
