She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Cato and Onie Cato; and her husbands, Herbert Cook and Lake Rodgers. She is survived by: her daughter Jeanette Staley (Bill) of Trenton; her daughter-in-law Donie Cook; her grandchildren, Beverly Bledsoe (Frank), Myrtle Beach, Tonya Fulmer (Paul), Janice Hartless, Larry Lamb (Cheryl), Tammy Snipes, Eddie Cook, New Holland and Lisa Youngblood (Jake); her brother Robert L. Cato; and her children, Edna Storey and Ellis Cook. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, 20 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Napier Funeral Home (315 Main St, Graniteville, SC 29829). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, she requested that memorials may be made to charitable organization of your choice.
