He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert R. Herron and Evelyn J. Herron; his brother Riley E. Herron; his brother-in-law Tom Flynn; and his nieces, Michelle Cooper and Jade Herron.
He is survived by: his siblings, Elvin Herron, Alvin Herron (Wanda), Margaret Garrett (Michael) of Trenton, Shirley Merideth (Larry) of Aiken and Jeanette Flynn of Newnan, Georgia.; and his nieces and nephews, Christopher Herron, Scott Herron (Wendy), Gilbert, Riley Herron (Robin), Nicole Stukes (Vencent) and Pamela Poston Herron.
