She was predeceased by: her parents, Collie Tyler and Eartharine Salley. She is survived by: her husband Michael Brooks; her children, Erik Sykes and Tunisia Tyler; her grandchildren, Erik Sykes Jr., Alaysia Gude, Antwon Gude and Jaylon Gude; and her siblings, Janice Simmons Oldest (Joseph Simmons), Tyrone Tyler, Eddie Tyler (Dee Tyler) and Colleen Tyler.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the George Funeral Home (211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the George Funeral Home Historic Downtown Chapel (211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801).
