He is survived by: his parents, Holbrook Piper and Margaret H Edwards Piper; his wife Faith A Kindred Piper; his stepchildren, Kaitlyn V Baker (Nathan), Ashley A Sanders and Wesley A Sanders; his children, Joanna G Piper and Joseph E Piper (Joey); and his grandson Clayton R Rushton.
