He was predeceased by: his parents, Brady Elmer and Mary Wilma Johnson Jones; his former wife Mary Jones; his daughter Melaine Jones; and his siblings, Mabel Shelton, Mary Curtis, Carolyn Game, Johnsie Liles and William Pinkney "Pete" Jones.
He is survived by: his children, David Jones (Donna), Jennifer Jones (Juan Villar) and Rebecca Gutierrez; his granddaughters, Monica, Veronica, Sydney, Nora and Sophie; and his siblings, Sophie Marie "Trixie" Jones and Brady Jones, Jr. (Jane Jones). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
