He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mullen, Jr. and Margaret McDowell Mullen. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Garrison Mullen; his sons, Sam Mullen (Akiko) of Lake Forest and Dr. Tom Mullen (Emily) of Grants Pass, Oregon.; his grandchildren, Enna and Liam of Lake Forest; and his sisters, Marilyn Warren, Katherine Kennon of Nashville and Margaret Parrish of Columbia.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Shellhouse Funeral Home (924 Hayne Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801). Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Calendar Shellhouse Funeral Home (924 Hayne Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801).
