He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Willis Midyette Jr. and Lillie Ross Midyette; and his brother Elbert "Bud" Midyette III. He is survived by: his children, Sarah Cornett (Kevin) of Summerville, SC, Parker Midyette of Beaufort, SC, Gavin Midyette of Beaufort, SC, Chanelle Tallmage (George) of Ridgeland, SC and Mariah Midyette of Beaufort, SC; and his sister Denise Midyette of Lakemont, GA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
