He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Heaton and Carrie G. Heaton; his wife Carolyn Busby Heaton; and his son Ronald H. Heaton. He is survived by: his sons, Charles Wallace Heaton, John Busby Heaton (Amy) and Richard David Heaton (Zoom); and his grandchildren, Charles Ashley Heaton (Christy), Janet Kelly Eubanks (Ken), John Kevin Heaton, John Wesley Heaton, Minna Heaton, Andrew Scott Heaton and David Ngoc Heaton. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
