He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. John B. Garlick and Kathryn E. Garlick. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Kristin, John Jr. (Magen) and James (Alison); and his grandchildren, William, Phillip, Jackson, Colton and Lilly.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in John's name to Colby's Crew Rescue or Great Oak Therapeutic Riding Center.
