With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan W. Baranek of Aiken, South Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Charette and Irene Charette; her husband Bud; and her siblings, Jack Charette, Eleanor Hart, Thelma Laskowitz and Ruthie Jane Woerner.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Baranek (Mary), Belinda Baranek and Douglas Baranek (Sue) of Helena, MT; her grandchildren, Cynthia, Brenton, Scott, Rachel and Leah; and her great grandchildren, Ian, Onalee, Jayce and Addy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be directed to Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation (nof.org) .
