With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerome Aleck Portnoy of Aiken, South Carolina, born in Appleton, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2024 at the age of 42. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Aleck, Adeline Portnoy, Jerome and Gladys Henn; his aunts, Barbara Cornelius, Beverlee Clauson, Beverly Portnoy and Rose Mary Thompson; his niece Canon Reeves; and his pets, Cleo and Dixie.
He is survived by: his parents, James Portnoy and Linda Portnoy (Henn); his wife Megan; his son Mason; his sisters, Anne Portnoy and Sarah Kejr (Jordon); his aunt Leisa Wells (Andy); his parents-in-law, David and Kay McHugh; his sisters-in-law, Heather Marten (Joe) and Andrea Schneider (Kevin); and his nieces and nephews, Hailey, Alexah Kejr, Paige, Ty Marten, McHugh, Lucy and Lincoln Schneider. He is also survived by many other cousins and caring friends.
