She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Arthur Gibson and Charlotte "Lottie" Rast Gibson; her husband Erskine Taylor Shealy; her daughter Allison Shealy Wolhaupter; and her siblings, Ray Gibson, Claude Gibson and Hilda Ott.
She is survived by: her daughter Ann Shealy Lay (Allen); her son-in-law Carl Wolhaupter; and her grandchildren, Wendy Miller Larsen (Chad) and Jeremy Taylor Miller. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
