She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Strickland and Maybel Porter (C. D.); her son Dale Frakes; and her brother Kenneth "Cherokee" Porter. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Frakes, Robin Mccowan (Nick Angelos) and Katherine (Danny); her siblings, Dennis Porter (Cindy), Danny Porter (Sherry), Nancy Thomas (John) and Doris Odom of Gloverville, SC; and her grandchildren, Lisa Fogg (Michael), Jon Mccowan (Audrey), Jennifer Thomas, Jimmy Thomas, Lee Reese and Clint Reese. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
