We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2024, at the age of 86, Janet Wilma Vaughan (Aiken, South Carolina), born in Muncie, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Hewitt and Wilma Hewitt; her former husband Morris Davis; her husband Paul Vaughan Jr.; her son James Kent Davis; and her siblings, Arthur Hewitt, Linda Jackson, Lyle Hewitt and Teresa Berwick.
She is survived by: her siblings, Eleanor Leap of Lansing, MI, Robert Hewitt of Morganton, GA, James Hewitt (Rhoda) of Richmond, VA, Jo Ellen Hewitt of Indianapolis, IN, Kent Hewitt (Karen) of Aiken, SC and William Hewitt (Barbara) of Valparaiso, IN.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
She continued her sewing for charity making afghans and prayer shawls, winter hats, laundry bags, face masks, head bands, ear muffs, and her very useful creation, special jar lid openers (over 2100).
