He was predeceased by: his parents, James Langford and Nancy Futch Langford; his wife Celia Baxley Langford; and his siblings, Marjorie, Cleo, Gladys Langford and Thomas Langford.
He is survived by: his sons, James "Jimmy" Langford, III and Jeffrey Langford (Lisa C.); and his granddaughter Meredith Langford.
