He is survived by: his wife Shelly Lee Altemose-Allphin; his children, James "Little Jimmy" Allphin, Jr. (Megan), Timothy Clayton Pennington (Whitni), Julie Prosser (Mike), Ashley Altemose and Amber Galloway (Steven); his siblings, Christina Setters (late Calvin), Phyllis Setters, Katherine Kappes (Junior) and Samuel Setters; his grandchildren, Kerrick Allphin, Leilan Pennington, Laikyn Pennington, Alaina Pennington, Bryson Pennington, Timothy Pennington, Carson Prosser, Landon Bohler and Iris Bellue; and his stepson Daniel. He is also survived by eighteen nieces and nephews.
