She was predeceased by: her mother Lena Nicks; and her brother Nick Grevas. She is survived by: her father Gus Nicks; her siblings, Anna Oulman, Rosemary Acuff, John Nicks and Andy; her husband Wayne M. From the time Irene graduated from St. Mary's School, she followed their teachings on faith, compassion and charity. She always responded to pleas for help and for years sponsored a young lady in Honduras through The Christian Foundation for Children and Aging.
