He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Goodwin and Mae Seigler Goodwin; and his great grandchild Wyatt James Levi Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Vernell Barfield Goodwin; and his siblings, Emily Eubanks and Irdell Goodwin.
