She was predeceased by: her parents, George A. Crawford and Gladys V. Humphries Crawford; her husband Luther Eugene "Gene" Wheeler; and her siblings, Pat Kuehl, Douglas Crawford and Freddy Crawford.
She is survived by: her children, L. Michael Wheeler (Jody), Lisa Garvin (Glenn) of Wagener, SC and Leslie Wheeler; her grandchildren, Kristopher Howard (Alexis), Joseph Howard (Jennifer), Autumn Grubbs (Jonathan) and Richard Weisert, II; her great grandchildren, Kamden Howard, Hadley Mae Howard, Jackson Weatherford, Lila Grace Howard, Hilton Grubbs and Alua Ardin Grubbs; and her sister Mary Elizabeth Porth (Bo Padgett).
