It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George S. Roe Jr. (Aiken, South Carolina), who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Samuel Roe, Sr. and Myrtis Couch Roe; his brother Paul E. Roe, Sr.; and his nephews, Paul E. Roe, Jr., Eddie Roe and David Roe.
He is survived by: his wife Essie Mae Waldron Roe; his son Christopher Roe (Suzie); his stepson Earl Sutton (Tracy) of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, Jacob Roe, Spencer Roe, Samantha Roe and Mason Sutton; his great grandchild Leviticus Roe; and his siblings, Wynez Roe and Ralph Roe.
