He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammie P. Collins and Azilee Still Collins of Barnwell, SC.; his son Marty Collins of Watkinsville, GA; and his father-in-law William R. Bishop of Aiken. He is survived by: his son Mitchell L. Collins (Kirsten); his daughter-in-law Beth Collins of Watkinsville, GA; his grandchildren, Katie Elliott (William), Sam Collins and Mason Collins; his great grandchildren, George and Lillian Elliott of West Point, MS; his sisters, Margie Collins and Brenda Croft (Gene) of Barnwell, SC; his siblings-in-law, Sandra Waddell of Aiken, Shari Bishop of Aiken and Rusty Bishop (Vangie) of Modoc, SC; his mother-in-law Leona Bishop; and his pet Tippy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, a great-niece and great-nephews.
