He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Cureton Gilbert; his children, Jaqueline Marie Rivera (Candido) of Goose Creek, SC and Jeremy Ryan Gilbert of Aiken; his brothers, Kim Gilbert (Linda) of Tennessee and Jeffrey Gilbert of Connecticut; his grandchildren, Anthony Michael Rivera (Tiffany) and Alyssa M. Rivera (Donavan); and his great grandchildren, Audrianna Rivera, Anthony Rivera, Jr. and Madison M. Daley.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM and on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center (211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801).
