He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Standifer and Pauline Cordell Standifer of McMinnville, TN; and his siblings, Johnny Thomas Standifer, Jack Jennings and Freda Jennings Michel of Florida.
He is survived by: his wife Jewell Dean Stacy Standifer; his son Dean Franklin Standifer of Augusta, GA.; and his sisters, Sara Standifer Hamilton of Alabama and Nancy Standifer Sikora of Ohio. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, and great-grand-nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in his memory to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aiken, S.C.
Full military honors will be administered by American Legion Post 173 and VFW Post 5064.
