She was predeceased by: her son Rodney Chavis (Dianne); her grandchildren, Sherrie Marie Cooper, Lonnie "Scoop" Chavis, Jr., Victor Adam Chavis and Robert Lee-Patrick Chavis; her siblings, Frankie Chavis, Willie Lee Chavis, Jessie Chavis, Cornell Chavis, Wilson Peter Chavis, Jackie Chavis, Rudolph "PeeWee" Chavis, Jr., Roger Dale Chavis, Zellie Mae Morris, Riola Howell and Viola Wienbeck; her former husband Burnice Chavis; her husband Clyde Jacob Williams; and her parents, Rudolph Chavis and Hollie Skipper Chavis.
She is survived by: her children, Carroll Chavous (late Andrea), Steven Chavous (late Shirley), Lonnie Chavis (Katie Ann), Burnice "Bernie" Chavis, Jr. (Lisa), Nina Chavis Williams (late Richard) and Tina Chavis Mills; her grandchildren, Christopher Carroll Chavous (Shannon), Burnice Leo Chavous (Karrie), Jonathan Michael Chavous (Sally), Audrey Elizabeth Keith (Chad), Adrianne Elaine Sapp (Justin), Amanda Ellen Chavous, Aaron Eugene Chavous, Aaron Alan Chavous, Andrea Dawn Watts (James), Elisha Jones, Angela "Angie" Reams (Chip), Bonnie Ann Swearingen, Shannon Elizabeth Carey (Rob), Joshua Simpson Chavis (Lee Ann), Daronda Lynn Hawkins (Ashley), Kelley Marie Taylor (Jeffrey), Sharon "Kayla" Morison (Brandon), Caleb Monday Chavis, Stephanie Chavis, Vanessa Dahan and Amber Nicole Mills; and her siblings, Jennie Clark and Shirley "Fuzzy" Lucas.
