He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wesley Sinclair and Allie Mosely Sinclair; his siblings, Lenora, William and Willis; and his son Stephen Wesley Sinclair.

He is survived by: his sister Jane Sinclair Smith; and his sons, Ronald Eugene Sinclair (Marcia), Glenn Stewart Sinclair (Jayne Fincher Sinclair) and Rhett Nolan Sinclair (Kim). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in Gene's honor to Trinity United Methodist Church, 2724 Whiskey Rd. Aiken SC 29803.
