He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon H. Courtney, and Dorothy Rebecca Weeks Courtney, Sr.. He is survived by: his brothers, Clancy Courtney (Fain) of Columbia, SC and Gordon Courtney, Jr. (Nancy); and his nephews, Trey Courtney (Amy) and David Courtney (Erin).
