She was predeceased by: her parents, Rexia Patterson and Mabel Fells Patterson; her husband Junior Hicks; and her son Arthur Hicks. She is survived by: her sons, David of Aiken and Jeffrey Hicks of Aiken; and her sisters, Emma P. Smith of Jamaica, NY, Clara A. Pollard and Long. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel (924 Hayne Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801).
