It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Cheeks (Aiken, South Carolina), born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on November 20, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Clarence Cheeks, Sr. and Evelyn Widener Cheeks; his grandparents, George W. and Ann Burckhalter; and his sister Kathy Courtney.
He is survived by: his wife Annie R. Cheeks; his children, Teri Laurence (King) of Aiken, SC, Lee Cheeks (Kim) of Graniteville, SC and Christian Mathis (Jim) of Aiken, SC; and his grandchildren, Sydnie Laurence, Sarah Laurence, Taylor Scott (Austin), Corley Cheeks of James Donald, Emma Mathis, Co Co and Mocha.
