With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diana Matthews Floyd of Aiken, South Carolina, born in Kingstree, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 61. She is survived by: her parents, Harry Milton Matthews and Kay Huggins Matthews of Aiken; her husband Steven "Steve" Eugene Floyd; her children, Alexa Grace Floyd of Charlotte, NC, Tyler Matthew Floyd (Karly Shawn Floyd) of Jacksonville, FL and Hayne Phillip Floyd of Charlotte, NC; her granddaughter Palmer Floyd; her siblings, Susan Elliott of Florence, SC and Lex Matthews of Florence, SC; and her friend Sharon "Tee Tee" Sullivan.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Cedar Creek Church (3001 Banks Mill Rd SE, Aiken, SC 29803). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
