He was predeceased by: his father Earl Schmidt; and his daughter Danielle Bogardus. He is survived by: his wife Denise Schmidt; his children, Bryan Bogardus (Marsha), Dena Reyes (Angel) and Lee Schmidt (Laura); his grandchildren, Troy, Mikayla, Presley, Reagan, Matthew, Brayden, Madelyn, Jaxen, Aliya, Grace, Olivia, Isabel and Bella; his mother Pansy Persondek (Alvin); and his sisters, Brenda Poole and Jennifer Johnston (Jerry). He is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
