He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph J. Scott and Josephine Landis Scott; and his brother Ralph Dale. He is survived by: his wife Carol Raney Scott; his children, Diane Derico (Dan), Karen Scott, Gary Scott (Stacia) and Doug Scott (Melissa); and his brother Don Scott (Jan). He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Dean's memory to First Presbyterian Church of Aiken or Crescent Hospice of Aiken.
