He is survived by: his son Joel H. Wise (Faith); his daughter-in-law Angela Wise; and his grandchildren, Tamara Key (BJ Bolt), Kristie Wise, Erin Byers, David Wise IV (Courtney), Barbara Stewart (David), Fawn Wise, Sarah Wise, Joel H. Wise, Jr. (Jenifer) and Hope D. Wise (Benji Robinson). He is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren: six great-great-grandchildren.
