He is survived by: his wife Novie Trowell; his children, Crey Trowell, Jr. (Kristin) and Kalisha Irene Trowell; his grandchildren, Mylah Trowell, Creysin Trowell (Anna Trowell), Gianna Brock, Avery Thomas, Isaiah Thomas and Elijah Thomas; and his siblings, Dr. Jack Trowell, Franklin Trowell, Lee Trowell, Lafayette Trowell, Frances Gomillon, Irene Trowell-Harris, Mae Brown and Sherry Diane Perry (Willie).
