With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles A. Pooler Jr. (Aiken, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Charles departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Charles. Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Pooler and Helen M. Pooler. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Cooper Pooler; his children, Jane Barnes and Scott Barnes; his grandson Cooper Barnes of St Augustine, FL; and his siblings, Priscilla Geoghegan of Canaan, NH, William Pooler of Grafton, MA and Gibby (Jim Lawson). He is also survived by sister and brother; and several nieces and nephews.
