She was predeceased by: her parents, Aiken A. Abstance and Julia Kitchings Abstance; her siblings, Aiken "Chip" Abstance, Julia Mae Abstance Mundy and Myrtle Abstance Pickering; her niece Angie Mundy; and her nephews, Scotty Ussery and Aiken "Trey" Abstance III.
She is survived by: her husband John Dennis Kaney; her children, David Barney Inabinet and Shana Kaney Anderson (Chris); her sisters, Jean Abstance Holley and June Abstance Ussery of Kings Bay, FL; and her grandchildren, Serenity Anderson, Amber Inabinet, Alysa Perritt, Bella Pelt, Gabby Pelt and Shaley Pelt.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the Outreach Ministry of the First Baptist Church of Windsor 539 Middleton Dr Windsor, SC 29856.
